Balanced State

This
way and that my footsteps moved upon the grains of sand, Below
the waters edge I saw the forming of a land; Of
mirrored images, balanced, out of densely thickened matter; While
gentle raindrops fell from high; pitter, pitter, patter, The
waters ebbed, the waters flowed , the waters left the landscape, Shaped
and layered, soft and jagged, waiting, waiting, waiting…… Robert William Streeter
Its Good Harbour Beach Gloucester Massachusetts in the winter.
Its cold, desolate and the surface of the sand is virgin from human footprint.
I am picking out images with a 135mm lens on a SLR 35mm camera.
Then once I have the images in the darkroom I begin to turn them upside
down and this way around and that way around one on top of another.
Its called ' layering'. It really quite fascinating what you can find.
And then of course for another it may be quiet boring.
But I am not another !
