Subliminal Dream Sequence

A mind alive observed, the Mist Arising,

and what is this ?  In sleep its eye deceives;

yet it sees.....  Ten Seconds then till Death ?

Rule number one for the landscape photographer is not 'don't forget the film' !

Rule number one is ' check the weather channel' ! A changing forecast is always

useful for the obtaining and production of interesting and challenging images.

Better still if the change in the weather is to take pace during the early hours of

the morning or during the later hours of evening. What's important is the location

of the sun and its low angle in the sky. The base image here is a very wide angled

view of the ocean during a winter storm off the coast of Massachusetts. I then

added to the image a long focus exposure of approaching waves taken not a half

mile away at another overlook. This image has been and still is one of my personal

favorites. The water is coming at me. The mist is still moving.....
