The Edge of Winter

As a man old in days, he has come into my room;

And only lingers for awhile whilst I try to understand.

Mr Winter, cold and so apparently unforgiving is not all he seems to be.

I know him better now and am grateful.

Its Good Harbor Beach at Gloucester Massachusetts.

I wonder why its called Good Harbor? I’d find it a very bad harbor if

I were a ships captain. Perhaps I’ll layer a winter image over a summer

image of the same scene and explore the possibilities of merging

the seasons together. But right now its tea time. Where’s the muffin?
